She gave up her 20 year career as a full time barrister to build Mowgli Liverpool and opened Manchester Mowgli less than a year later. There are now three restaurants with two more venues about to open, and plans for further expansion. Nisha, a dedicated curry evangelist, has fond hopes for Mowgli’s growth and she still insists on hand picking curry virgins for her kitchens, hand training each new Mowgli chef.
